Getting There and Parking

The start and finish of the event will be at Peruvian Wharf in East London and we will have the overnight camp at Windsor Racecourse. You can be collected and dropped off at both locations and full details of timings and driving directions are below.

Peruvian Wharf: Start Day 1, Finish Day 2

Address: Peruvian Wharf, North Woolwich Road, London E16 2AT

Driving: The car park will be open on Saturday morning from 0630 until 1000. Drivers will be able to drop people off at the site in a designated drop off area. Those riders doing two days can leave their vehicle there from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. Cars are left at your own risk, however we will have security watching the vehicles throughout. The charge will be £10 per vehicle and this will need to be paid in cash on arrival. You will also be required to fill in a car pass which will be given to you on the day (stating your name and contact details) to be left on your dashboard for the duration of the event. The car park will close on Sunday at 7pm and all cars must be collected by then.

Train: The start site is right next to the West Silvertown DLR station. You are able to take folded and unfolded bikes on certain tube lines and a full map of what stations you can take your bike on can be found here. The closest you can take an unfolded bike to is Canning Town which is one stop away from West Silvertown and just 1 mile ride away. We recommend checking back with TFL before final travel to ensure you take account of any planned engineering works.

Cycling: You are of course more than welcome to cycle there with your bag and when you arrive you can quickly register and leave your bag with us for you to collect at the end of the day

Windsor Racecourse: Finish Day 1, Start Day 2

Address: Royal Windsor Racecourse, Maidenhead Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 5JJ

Driving: There will be parking available for people who are being dropped off or collected from Windsor Racecourse. There will be no charge for using this service and the car park will be open from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday. Registration opens at 0630 on Sunday morning for those cycling just Day 2, and the car park will be open from 0630 until 1900 to allow plenty of time for those being dropped off or for faster riders who may want to collect a car later on. All cars are left at your own risk.

Train: The nearest stations to the racecourse are Windsor and Eton Central, Windsor and Eton Riverside and Slough. Trains run from Paddington and Waterloo to these stations. Taxis are available from all stations or it is around 1.5miles on your bike to the course.

Cycling: You are of course more than welcome to cycle there with your bag and when you arrive you can quickly register and leave your bag with us for you to collect at the end of the day.
