Route Overview

Early on Saturday you’ll depart northbound from Windsor Racecourse. First you’ll pass through Marlow before reaching your first challenge – the Chiltern Hills. After conquering the climbs you’ll descend into the sheltered roads of Epping Forest, before reaching the middle pit stop at Lee Valley Athletics Centre. With 140 kilometres under your belt, you’ll venture into the iconic city of London, riding over Tower Bridge, past the Shard and Crystal Palace. Continuing to pedal southbound from the city centre, you’ll eventually reach the picturesque North Downs. Now just a few steady inclines will be between you and the finish line. 300 kilometres later.

Does ULTRA mean fast?

You shouldn’t be expecting to achieve top speeds when taking on this ULTRA. This ride isn’t designed to be the fastest, it’s the ultimate chance to showcase our iconic capital city. You’ll feel the city culture and smell the fresh country air all in one incredible ride.

How fast do I need to be?
